How One Skin Clinic Owner’s Revenue Went From £3.5k to £6.5k in Under a Month — Without New Clients, New Treatments, or More Hours

Skin clinic owner revenue results - Adam Chatterley MONEY Method

This is a real skin clinic revenue story – and it might be the most important thing you read today if you’re stuck at the same monthly income month after month.

Kellie had never broken £3.5k a month.

Not once. In years of running her skin clinic.

And the frustrating part? She was good. Really good. Her clients loved her. Her results were real. She worked hard, cared deeply about what she did, and showed up every single day.

But at the end of every month, the bank balance told the same story. Not enough. Never quite enough.

When she came to me, she’d convinced herself the problem was marketing. That she needed more clients. More posts. More visibility. Maybe a social media agency. Maybe a promotion to fill the gaps.

She didn’t need any of those things.

The real reason skin clinic revenue stays stuck

This is the conversation I have more than any other with skin clinic owners.

They come to me thinking they have a marketing problem. They leave realising they had a pricing and positioning problem — and that those two things were costing them thousands of pounds every single month.

Kellie was undercharging. Not a little bit. Significantly. Her prices were set based on what she thought the market would bear — which is another way of saying she’d looked at what everyone else was charging and positioned herself somewhere in the middle.

The problem is, when everyone prices based on their competitors, and their competitors are pricing based on theirs, the whole market ends up collectively undercharging. It’s pricing by Chinese whispers.

And the result is a clinic full of clients who are getting an incredible service at a fraction of what it’s worth.

Her offer structure was also working against her. She was selling individual treatments — one-off appointments with no commitment, no programme, no reason for a client to invest in a result rather than a session.

Which meant she needed a constant flow of new bookings just to maintain the same income. One quiet week and the whole month wobbled.

And her positioning — the way she was describing what she did and who she helped — was too generic. Too similar to every other skin clinic in her area. Which made price the deciding factor for anyone choosing between her and a competitor.

Three problems. All fixable.

What we changed

We didn’t touch her marketing. We didn’t redesign her website or overhaul her social media or run a promotion.

We fixed the foundations.

First, her pricing. We went through her treatment menu and rebuilt it based on the value she was delivering — not what her competitors were charging. Some prices went up by 15%. Some by more. We did it gradually and with confidence.

Second, her offer structure. Instead of selling individual treatments, we built a programme. A clear, result-based offer that clients could commit to — a defined outcome over a defined period of time, at a price that reflected the transformation rather than the session.

Third, her positioning. We got specific about who she served and what problem she solved. Instead of “skin treatments for all skin types and concerns,” she became the go-to clinic for a specific type of client with a specific concern. The right people immediately felt like she was speaking directly to them.

None of this required more hours. None of it required new clients. It required charging properly for what she was already doing and packaging it in a way that made the value obvious.

What happened next

Within a month, Kellie had her first ever £6.5k month.

She messaged me to say she couldn’t believe how simple it was. That she wished she’d done it sooner. That she felt stupid for not seeing it before.

I told her not to feel stupid. Nobody teaches pricing strategy in beauty therapy training. Nobody covers offer structure or positioning or how to build a programme-based revenue model. You qualify, you set up, you wing it — and then you spend years wondering why the money never quite adds up.

Kellie didn’t have a talent problem or a work ethic problem or a marketing problem.

She had a foundations problem. And once the foundations were right, everything else followed.

She had another £6.5k month the following month.

Then another.

The skin clinic revenue that used to feel accidental started to feel predictable. The diary that used to feel fragile started to feel solid. The business that used to feel like it was running her started to feel like something she was actually in control of.

What this means for your skin clinic revenue

If you’re a solo skin clinic owner reading this and any part of Kellie’s story sounds familiar — the full diary, the constant hustle, the money that never quite matches the effort — I want you to know something.

This is not a you problem. It is not a talent problem or a location problem or a “the market in my area won’t pay more” problem.

It is almost certainly a foundations problem.

And foundations can be fixed.

Most of the skin clinic owners I work with are sitting on significantly more revenue than they’re currently generating. Not because they need more clients. Because they’re undercharging, oversimplifying their offers, and positioning themselves too generically to command the prices their work deserves.

Fixing those three things — in the right order, with the right framework — is exactly what The MONEY Method™ is built to do.
